Pulp! Pulp! If ever a band deserved to be treated in the manner of their name, it is the abominable Pulp. It only encouraged spotty, speccy swots to think that they should venture out in public, when they should have remained in their basements masturbating over pictures of Brains from that Gerry Anderson puppet thing.

Rubbish! “Disco 200o” is a great pop song, all youthful lust and adult regret and “Different Class” is a truly great album.

The 90s aren’t ageing too well, are they? My favourite singles from that time are probably “Groove is in the Heart” and “Disco 2000″. Not sure there many truly great bands though.
